Title:Lono
My inspiration was that the god Lono looked friendly and positive unlike the other choices. I like how he was rather difrent from all the others. Plus he was just very happy.
The process of creating the tiki god started off by making 4 sketches. Then we we layed our slab out and sized it out correctly and set the main tiki piece up. Next we added features we wanted to show and create our tiki god.
Title:The Dolphin
My inspiration for this piece. Came from me and my mom. We would go to the beach after school and go swimming and tan. One day we saw some dolphins jumping through the water at Holdan Beach. It was so calm and peaceful that day.
The process of creating this piece was drawing a sketch of the dolphin. Then I started with painting a background then later on painting the dolphin and also edges.
Title:Mechanic Heart
My inspiration came from how your "heart" has emotions and feeling and they all have to fit together like the mechanics in the piece. The gears in the piece resemble this the most. What i'm trying to say is that peoples feelings have to work together with everything that comes into play with those kinda of things.
For the process i came up the idea of the heart and then did four sketches. I did a little bit of practice shading on the sketches. Then i drew a practice gear. Later I started my final piece and drew my gears and mechanics i first then started shading later on.

Title:Mixed
My inspiration for this piece came from how people can have different emotions. One day they can be all happy and the next they could be sad our angry. so the idea is that people could have a bright and positive side but also have a bad and dark side.
The process of creating this piece was drawing four sketches. I started on a water color piece but I hated how it turned out. I decided to start over and do a acrylic paint instead.
